I guess it's the same as showing oe of the characters from South Park or King of the Hill jerking off to a book by some Objectivist (or other right-wing/pro-corporate conservative economics theory that dresses itself up to be more "fun".) But you wouldn't have the guts to do that, would you? ;)

Sorry I didn't mean to come of like a jerk or anything. :) It's a funny cartoon - I mean I guess it's really not a good idea to actually mention marx excplicitly in your comic if you're into something like marxism. That's one of the problems the comic has. It isn't a syndicated comic, yet it kind of acts like one, which doesn't make any sense since it ISN'T one. Then it does stuff like have moral premises based on something obscure to most of us which would make it dangerously easy to see as somehow dogmatic or preachy, like Faithmouse, Mallard Fillmore, or Jack. It is a lot better to do what Brecht did and (when one tells a story) offer realistic situations and let the audience decide what the answer is, instead of refer to some book or morality. Otherwise, we're just being sold something and we'll all know it.

I can think of a lot of people I have known (in person or on the Internets) who I could easily draw as cartoon characters masturbating to Marx. Haha. OMG shit.. It's making my head hurt now.
